Elon Musk, known for both the blue bird logo and the name of Twitter, continues to face troubles after making radical changes to the platform. Following the controversial changes in the app, the billionaire businessman is now facing complaints about the “X” logo. However, these complaints are not about him changing the logo, but rather for placing a very bright logo at Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco, which is causing disturbance to the neighbors.
The “X” logo in San Francisco is receiving complaints
The “X” symbol placed by Elon Musk at the headquarters in San Francisco was never officially approved by the city, and now San Francisco officials are investigating the matter. It has been reported that Musk’s company did not file a necessary permit application when changing the letters or symbols on a building. The logo is under review for security and design reasons, and it is causing considerable discomfort among the residents surrounding the building.
According to Building Inspection Department spokesperson Patrick Hannan, a permit is required to ensure that the changed signs are consistent with the “historic nature of the building.” Hannan stated in an email, “Planning review and approval are also required for the placement of this sign. The city has received a complaint about this matter, and an investigation is being initiated.”
